Curriculum Development & Design

School & Museum Partnerships for K - 12th Grade

Engage students to think deeply, make long-lasting connections, and be self-directed learners. Through experiential, project-based, and/or place-based learning, student motivation increases and their understanding transfers to new situations and the world around them.

Through our partnership, teachers will develop and design curriculum that includes a hands-on, real-world approach that embeds universal designs for learning, nurtures students' metacognition, and supports effective collaboration. We can build and strengthen existing curriculum or co-develop new curriculum.

Museum Curriculum

Museums can bring collections to life with dynamic, mission-aligned curriculum that engages students through hands-on, inquiry-based learning. Whether enhancing existing programming or co-creating new initiatives, Devin supports museums in developing curriculum that fosters students' critical thinking, engagement, and meaningful connections to history/science and community.

Experiential Learning

Grades K - 12

Learning by doing, reflecting on what happened, applying a new strategy or idea, and getting better at understanding and thinking critically as a result.

Place-Based Learning

Grades K - 12

Use the local environment, community, and culture as the context for teaching and learning, promoting deeper connections, understanding, and stewardship.

Blended Learning

Grades 2 - 12

Thoughtfully leverage technology to increase student autonomy and to truly meet the needs of every learner. Blended learning models can complement place, project, and experiential learning.
